May was a busy month for the individuals and staff at ACS Moultrie.

On May 23, 2025 we celebrated Denzell Palmore birthday at the YOUniversity. The individual received cupcakes and balloons that was shared with his peers and family. Thanks to his parents Dennis Palmore and Selena Tucker for getting off early to be apart of his celebration. Also, thanks to his siblings Keshaun Palmore, Zuri Palmore and Choyce Brown for taking part in the celebration.

Then on May 29, 2025 the individuals took part in a reading activity at Colquitt County Library that included bubbles. The individuals learned about how to check out books using a library card. The individuals enjoyed bags of freshly popped popcorn and ice water during all the activities.

Lastly, on May 30th, 2025 Staff took the individuals out for a day in the community. The individuals went to the Flint RiverQuarium to enjoy a show of water animals. The individuals saw an albino alligator, many different types of fish, snakes and a whale skull. The individuals and staff had a great time. We were joined by Matthew and JaCaree Williams family. Their sister Dedra, nephew Avery and brother Desmond who spent the entire day with us from the Aquarium to lunch at Long John Silver.

Special special thanks to the best staff ever Harmene McCloud, Yatisha Boose, and Eddie Thornton for all they do at the YOUniversity. I couldn’t make these events happen with their dedication to the individuals and CAG. I truly can’t thank them enough.

Thanks to the administration staff for approving these special events. Enjoy the show and remember we won’t stop until we are on top.

With so much gratitude
Wymika Taylor
Assistant Director ACS
