The awesome staff at ACS YOUniversity put together a Valentine Dance for the individuals on 2-14. I personally reached out to some of my favorite people in the work, asking them to come be a date for the individuals and bring a dish. Everyone said yes and did exactly what I asked them to do. I was even able to get them a live DJ who played all the music that the guys love. Some of the individuals even got on the microphone. They sang and sang until it was time to eat—and then they sang some more.
They enjoyed grilled chicken tenders, turkey sandwiches, meatballs and cocktail sausages, pecan pies, fruits, tossed salad, and veggies from a vegetable tray. We were also able to make goody bags for all of our guests and the individuals.
I would personally like to thank my family and friends again for taking time out of their busy schedules to spend time with our individuals because love goes a long way.
Special thanks to Vickie Greene, Susie Collins, Sharonda Wilkerson, Carolyne Sanders (who sits on the County Commission in Lenox, GA), Linda Jefferson, Jill Mitchell, and my dear friend Josh Barnes of Barnes and Greer Funeral Services in Adel, GA (who got the dates mixed up, but will be one of our buddies for the Breakfast with Buddies on April 16, 2025).
Last but not least, my niece Natalie “DJ NAS” Sanders, who took off work on her birthday (2-14) just to help make the individuals extremely happy.
Now, to the awesome, wonderful, loving staff of ACS YOUniversity—thank you for helping me set up, clean up, and still care for the individuals. YOU LADIES ROCK!
Let’s also welcome our New Office Manager, Christy Weaver, for helping with the drinks and coming over after she got off work to join in the festivities.
Also, a warm welcome to our new staff members, Yatisha Boose and Tetrina Young, who have already shown their dedication to making ACS YOUniversity a great place!
Please enjoy the show!
