On 9-18-2024 All Care South in Moultrie, GA put together a Fall Festival for the individuals of CAG. The staff and volunteers set up the YOUniversity in different stations for the individuals to play, compete and WIN. We had a Bullseye Pong table ran by the YOUniversity Assistant Director Wymika Taylor, Dart Throwing with Tamika Williams, Foosball with Gera Tyson, Rabbit Hole with Macaela Burdon, Basketball with Maria Pierce, and Pin the Tail on the Ghost Yatisha Boose (Volunteer). Each individual was able to WIN two prizes for the game in which they won.
We had three wonderful ladies take out time to volunteer with the festivities of the CAG center on yesterday. Mrs. Brenda Givens who graciously did our decorations, candy apples, brownies and rice krispy treats along with fruit cups. Then we had Mrs. Antoinette Hall who assisted with moving the individuals from station to station and getting the food out, and Ms. Yatisha Boose who assisted in the kitchen with preparing the food and helping with one of the games. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK Mrs. Givens, Mrs. Hall and Ms. Boose for helping us put and EXTRA SPECIAL SMILE on our individuals face and #MAKETHEMHAPPY.
The food was nothing short of amazing. We had nachos and cheese, hotdogs with slaw or cheese, snow cones, popcorn, brownies, candy apples and caramel apples, rice krispey treats, fruit cups, cotton candy, boiled peanuts, and pickles. The staff at All Care South Moultrie never seizes to amaze me. There is nothing that we can’t come together and do for our individuals at the YOUniversity. It’s a team effort because we all know that TEAM WORK truly makes the DREAM WORK. So, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Tamika Williams, Gera Tyson, Macaela Burdon, Maria Pierce, Shyann Grace, Keionia Kemp, Kaleisia Thomas, Kim Phelps, Marty Baker and Michelle Maxwell for helping me KEEP THE INDIVIDUALS SMILING and #MAKETHEMHAPPY.
