Yesterday at All Care South, under the guidance of our YOUniversity Assistant Director, Wymika Taylor, we hosted our “Lady of the Day” event in celebration of Mother’s Day. This special day was dedicated to honoring the important women in our lives and reminding our residents that they are deeply loved.
Events like these are crucial in ensuring that no one in our community feels forgotten. Our team, led by Michelle Maxwell, Kim Phelps, Martin Baker, Tamika Williams, and Shyann Grace, consistently goes above and beyond to foster an environment of joy and connection.
Special thanks to our house managers, Tomeka Murphy, Elyse Sinclair, and Kahlesia Thomas, for their unwavering support. Their dedication helps make these events possible. Additionally, Macaela Burdon, Latasha Harris, and Maria Pierce played key roles in the success of the day, and their efforts are immensely appreciated.
It was particularly heartwarming to see Micheal Hawkins joined by his family, adding a personal touch to the celebrations.
I am grateful to every team member and volunteer who contributed to making “Lady of the Day” a memorable event. At All Care South, we start as friends and grow into a family, and it is events like these that deepen those bonds.
