We are off to a great start here at ACS YOUniversity!
On August 7th, our individuals enjoyed a finger-painting activity at the Colquitt County Library. They painted flowers, their names, and even some staff names. Everyone also enjoyed freshly popped popcorn and cold bottled water. As always, Ms. Erin had everything beautifully prepared, and this time we were able to capture photos of her with one of the individuals. We are so grateful to the Colquitt County Library and staff for hosting us each month with such fun, educational activities.
It had been a while since we were able to stroll the square of downtown Moultrie, so on Friday, August 8th, staff took the individuals out for a health walk around the square. They enjoyed the fresh breeze and relaxed under the shade of a tree on the courthouse bench. Everyone was excited and happy to be out in the community again.
I am truly thankful for our amazing staff who are so dedicated to helping our individuals experience new places and activities. We are always looking for fresh ideas and opportunities here at ACS CAG.
Finally, I want to extend a warm welcome to our newest staff members, Lonisha Wilcox and Kim Terry. These ladies have already been working diligently alongside our team and learning all about the individuals we serve. We are so glad to have them on board!
