Part of the vision of All Care is to assist individuals in being a part of their communities. Being a part sometimes means “giving back to the community”.
Jasmine Payne, All Care YOUniversity Director, organized a wonderful opportunity for giving back. Through Jasmine’s coordination with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, YOUniversity participants spent Tuesday, May 18, volunteering their time to clean up Flat Creek Public Fishing Area in Houston County.
After cleaning and lunch on the grounds, participants were given the opportunity to fish the area at no cost.
Jasmine’s efforts resulted in a “win” for everyone involved–Georgia DNR, local anglers, and the volunteers from the YOUniversity.
