On 4/25, my staff and I took the individuals to Reed Bingham State Park for a day of fishing and relaxing.
Once arriving at the park, the individuals watched as staff baited the hooks with live bait. Staff and the individuals walked over to the dock and began fishing.
At first, one of the individuals complained that it was too hot and he wasn’t catching any fish, so he quit. He returned to the shade tree. Staff then began catching a lot of fish, so the individual returned to the dock to try it again.
Zell Rogers caught a fish, and so did Matthew Williams, who pulled his rod out of the water by himself. Altogether, staff and the individuals caught 14 fish — just enough to have a small fish fry.
Thank you to the Administration staff for approving this event. The individuals loved being out on the lake in the fresh air enjoying the scenery.
Next, thank you to my amazing staff for always assisting me in going above and beyond for our individuals. We strive every day to Make Them Happy.
Lastly, a big thank you to Cousins Cable and Internet Communications (owners Stacy Washington Sr. and Walter Jackson Jr.) for purchasing all of our hooks, weights, and baits. They also supplied lunch for the individuals as well.
We will keep striving to make All Care South the best Day Center in South Georgia.
Enjoy the pictures.
