Greetings from All Care:
All Care is a family. There are good times and there are bad times in the life of all families. Right now, the world is facing an unprecedented challenge with the Coronavirus. Like you, we are deeply concerned and want to do what we can to help keep our individuals and our families safe and healthy. The health, safety, and well-being of our co-workers, individuals, and families are always our top priority.
While we are hearing about many closing across our communities and state, from schools to events and churches, we must remember that we are in the healthcare business and our people and our individuals need us regardless of current or future developments. .
From the onset of this situation, we have been listening to the appropriate sources for accurate and up-to-date information, and our preparedness plan reflects those inputs. As the pandemic is continuing to evolve, we are actively monitoring the situation and assessing risks and are ready to implement immediate changes to ensure a high level of safety.
We are following guidelines and procedures set forth by our federal and state agencies and, specifically the CDC. Our procedures have always emphasized infection control and prevention to minimize transmission between our clients and staff. We are limiting contact and travel as much as possible to the point that doing so does not interfere with the well-being of our individuals.
In order to minimize contact, we are not allowing visitors in our offices. At the Youniversity, everyone who enters is monitored for fever before entering. We are taking extra precautions with those who are most vulnerable due to age and/or existing health issues.
We are monitoring new developments so that we can quickly adapt, continue care, and have the best possible outcome for the people we serve. We recognize this is a challenging time for all. The illness is hitting elderly the hardest. Many of the people we care for are in this category and need extra attention not to be exposed.
Our individuals are the heart of our company we are obligated to care for them in the good times and in the more difficult times. Our motto “make them happy” still remains our goal during this trying time!
Please take care of yourselves and each other.
Respectfully,
Allen G. Freeman
