The time has arrived for our 2nd Annual “BREAKFAST BRUNCH with BUDDY”.

This event is about bringing members of the surrounding counties together to converse and dine with our individuals. This year, my staff and I set up seven tables so that the individuals could enjoy their buddy.

We had musical talent from Scotty Cannon, who softly played the keyboard as everyone listened to the melody of Amazing Grace and Glory Hallelujah.

Then, Pastor Daughtry B. Melton 3rd (who is also a licensed Funeral Director and owner of Southview Mortuary located here in Moultrie) talked with the individuals, other guests, and staff about the importance of being prepared for life. Pastor Melton passed out gift bags to all the individuals and staff, then invited the individuals, staff, and the other guests to his Lunch and Learn. One of the individuals asked if he would have food, and he responded yes.

Then, Daniel Hudson spoke with us about the importance of this event since he himself has a child with Autism. All of our other buddies were thankful for the invitation and were glad to be a part of such an amazing event. They all have agreed to come back and see their new buddies.

I couldn’t have done this without my amazing team:
Harmene McCloud, Yatisha Boose, and Tetrina Young.
They helped purchase and prepare the food along with our awesome administrative team, Martin Baker and Christy Weaver.

There is still more to come from my team and me here at All Care South YOUniversity.

Again, with so much gratitude and thankfulness to all of our buddies — Daniel Hudson, Tony Thomas, Michael Holt, Andre Hampton, Scotty Cannon, and Pastor Daughtry B. Melton — for coming to spend a few hours with our individuals.

As I always say, we are continuously striving to be the best Day Center in Moultrie, GA.
